·Providing interactive multidimensional reporting with Crescent in Reporting Services

·Pushing multidimensional capabilities into the relational database engine with columnar indexing

This seminar answers two questions:

·How can I optimize the performance of Microsoft Analysis Services 2008 R2 now?

·What do I need to know to be ready to take advantage of the new Microsoft BI tools?

This seminar provides the most important insights gained from the experience of the highest level BI developers and administrators from around the world

·Keys in optimizing dimensions and cubes

·Best practices for processing

·Quick tips in using MDX, the cube querying language

·Analysis Services memory and thread management

During this seminar you will receive scripts to use in monitoring and tuning Analysis Services - and demonstrations on how you can use those scripts to improve your processing speeds and your query speeds.

There's a lot of new and changing information about Analysis Services 2008 and Microsoft Business Intelligence. This seminar pulls that key information together for you - so that you can both do your job more effectively now and understand how to design the most effective BI
strategy for your organization in the future.
